I was a victim of a terrible accident. Recently I was run over by a car and now I am having trouble walking. I have no idea who it was that ran me over with their car. I was crossing the street down town and all of a sudden I am looking up at paramedics and a policeman asking me all sorts of questions, I had no answers for him unfortunately. I got to the hospital where I was given pain medicine against my wishes. It was terrifying, I was in and out of consciousness and they kept drugging me so I only have few memories of the ordeal. Finally a couple of days in the hospital after finding out I had no insurance they just gave me a prescription for ibuprofen and Vicodin and tossed me out. I later found that they had taken x-rays and lost them somehow so I am still unsure of how extensive the damage was. After a few days I refused to take the large amount of pain pills fearing I would get dependent on them since I was taking them frequently. I have to admit those pills made me fell so good about my awful situation. I knew I had to deal with the pain on my own. The few months after the accident were the worst I have ever gone through even going to the bathroom was excruciating. Now I can walk but not well. I have sharp pain from time to time, I wake up in a pain filled days some nights and some days I just need to go into a restroom and cry. I am getting a little bit of help for doctor bills but I need some money for cab rides to the doctor, rent that is currently behind and other minor expenses. The dept has piled up and I don't see any other options. If you can just donate a few dollars that could get me a meal and a cab ride or a small bill paid that would make a big difference.
