Air suspension sagging overnight – fix or convert to coils? - camilledelacroix - 05-16-2026

My 2015 BMW 750i has the EHC air suspension on the rear and lately I've been waking up to the passenger side sitting noticeably lower than the driver side. After about a minute of running the compressor kicks in and levels it out, so I know it's not completely dead yet. A few shops I called wanted to replace the whole air bag plus compressor for a huge amount, but a friend suggested that sometimes it's just a leaking o ring or a cracked line near the valve block. I'm trying to find a place that actually diagnoses air suspension properly instead of throwing parts at it. Someone online mentioned a BMW Suspension Workshop Dubai that has experience with these EHC systems and can test for leaks without guessing. I'm also debating whether to repair the air setup or just convert to conventional springs, but I've heard conversion kits can mess with the dynamic damping and trigger warning lights. Has anyone here gone through a rear air suspension leak on a G11 or similar and fixed it for a reasonable cost? Really don't want to spend 8k at the dealer for something that might just be a cheap seal.
