Hydraulics in the Automotive Sector — Challenges and Solutions - nadiafish - 12-20-2025 Hey everyone, I’ve been tinkering with my old car’s hydraulic brakes, and I keep running into small leaks that make the pedal feel weird. I replaced the fluid a few times, but it still seems spongy. Has anyone else dealt with these kinds of hydraulic challenges in cars? I’m trying to figure out if it’s something simple like a worn seal or if I’m missing a bigger maintenance step. RE: Hydraulics in the Automotive Sector — Challenges and Solutions - bettyvill - 12-20-2025 Yeah, I had a similar problem last year with my truck’s steering hydraulics. Took me forever to realize it was just a tiny air bubble in the system causing the weird feel. Bleeding the system carefully made a huge difference. Also, I ended up finding some great tips and practical fixes on Hydro-Funk GmbH , really helped me get a handle on it without spending a ton. Just make sure you check all the connections too, even the ones that seem fine at first glance. |
