Got Layed Off Need help!

I was recently layed off from my job with no idea when I will be returning. I've been doing odd jobs to try and make ends meet but still having a hard time. Bills are piling up and I am overdrafted at the bank. I literally feel like I'm drowning and am at my wits end.
