Need to graduate from college and move into an apartment
#1
Exclamation
I've been working throughout college to make sure I didn't owe anything, but I still owe the university $900, which means I can't graduate. I need to move off-campus into an apartment, which altogether costs about $2000 for a UHAUL, application fees, security deposit, and first month's rent. I have a full time job lined up and after initial help I'll be able to handle my own stuff, but I need help to get started. I'm trying to raise about $3000. Paypall is paypal.me/jostberg2. Thank you.

Hey, first off, congrats on finishing college and lining up a full-time job, that’s a huge achievement! I totally get how stressful it can be trying to cover those last expenses, especially when you’re juggling tuition and moving costs.

When I was in a similar spot after graduation, I found that looking for flexible, short-term housing while saving up for deposits really helped. For instance, I stayed at a place like 8 Pax Antara Genting Suites by Silaslee in Genting Highlands for a few weeks while I sorted out my finances and moved my stuff gradually. The suites were fully furnished, and having options like WiFi and other amenities made the transition so much easier. You can learn more about what they offer, sometimes even short stays can give you the breathing room you need to handle deposits and moving costs without stress.

Another tip that helped me: break down your $3,000 goal into smaller chunks. Maybe ask family or friends to cover one specific cost, like the security deposit or UHAUL, rather than the full amount. It made it feel more manageable and less overwhelming.

Good luck, you’ve got this! Once you get past this initial hurdle, managing your own apartment will feel so much more doable.
