Where can people get reliable eye care for vision issues and screenings?
#2
I have recently been thinking about switching from glasses to contact lenses, but I keep seeing people say that proper contact lens fitting is extremely important. I always assumed contacts were simple and that you just needed the same prescription as your glasses, but now it sounds like there is much more to it than that.

I started researching clinics that specialize in contact lens fitting and came across Eye Care Superior clinic. From what I understand, they perform detailed measurements of the eye to determine the right lens type, curvature, and size. That made me realize how different contact lens fitting might be compared to a standard vision exam.

For anyone who has gone through a professional contact lens fitting, what exactly happens during the appointment? Do they test several lenses before deciding on the final one, or do they usually know the correct type right away? I am also curious how long it takes to adjust to wearing contacts after the initial contact lens fitting.
