And after these three fun legends, we wanted to tell you how the legend of Saint Publicity began: it was thanks to a brilliant initiative by the Peanuts & Monkeys agency.
They created " San Publicito on Tour ," a wooden sculpture created specifically for the occasion in the shape of the advertising saint, which toured various agencies across Spain during 2015 and 2016. Thus, a group of advertisers decided to claim the day of all advertisers by naming it Saint Publicity, and to accompany it, what better than to create an image that recreated the figure of our patron saint and to which we can turn when inspiration takes its time.

We are experiencing a feminine revolution. It was necessary to also be present on Advertising Day and create a patron saint: Saint Advertising . "Because now, more than ever, is the time to highlight all the women who have made and continue to make this blessed profession even greater every day," comments the Grow team, the creators of this initiative.
A few years ago, the agency launched a microsite featuring the patron saint, who illuminates us all with a light bulb, helping us generate more and better ideas.
Grow doesn't want to take the spotlight away from Saint Publicito, but rather to highlight a female role model on this special day. According to data from the Más Mujeres Creativas platform , only 20% of creative departments are women, 14% are women creative directors, and 1% are women general creative directors. Hence the initiative to give visibility to Saint Publicita, to pay tribute to the female sector of advertising.
