In the quiet corners of my dark home, I stand alone trying to be stay afloat, facing the immense challenges brought by the wife's schizophrenia since over a year. My days are filled with managing the turbulent waves of her condition while simultaneously nurturing three young children. Each day is a delicate balance of providing emotional stability, maintaining household routines, and safeguarding the innocence of childhood amidst the storm.
My nights are often sleepless, filled with worry and the weight of responsibilities that never wane. Yet, in the face of overwhelming adversity, the love for my family fuels resilience. My journey is a testament to the profound strength and compassion required to care for both a struggling partner and the children, striving to create a semblance of normalcy in a life marked by constant upheaval.
Yet, I find moments of strength in the small victories—when I see my children laugh, when the wife has a moment of clarity, or when I catch a breath of calm amidst the chaos.
My heart sinks when the children look up to me...I have to be a father and mother too!!!!
Finances are a mess for this calamity-stricken family.
