Seriously! I ended up losing my apartment and moving in with my sister in January, we have a falling out in March. I had to sleep in my car for 2 weeks into April. My best friend offered me a place to lay my head with his family and they turned out to be junkies( I got out of there, pronto!). Drove from the northeast to the southeast coast to live with my grandparents the whole month of May, only for my aunt to say I can’t be there because she doesn’t want anyone interfering with her stealing their money for herself. Move back in with my sister. Can’t find a job for MONTHS, so now I’m in severe debt and here I am. Where did my life go?

I am looking to buy Christmas gifts for my children. I recently moved to Binghamton, NY from NYC thinking that I would be giving my children a better life. I haven't been able to find a job. I've applied everywhere that says hiring and even places that are not hiring. I haven't had any luck and Christmas is almost here. My children have been very good this year and believe that Santa Claus is coming. I don't know how to tell them that he's not. I don't know if I should tell them that there isn't a Santa Claus. I feel like I really messed up. I need help. I've been selling my clothes on letgo and offer up to buy food and pampers. The only semi-peace I have is knowing that my rent is paid until March. Anything helps, please help me.

I would take a picture but it’s in the back of my mouth. I can try if that would help. It wasn’t as bad before but now the whole side of my face hurts, it hurts to brush them (and I am very big on hygiene), also my ear an eye hurt... not to mention the non stop migraine. I don't like asking for help but I really don't know what else to do. I am 39 years old. Single mother of a 10 yr olf boy. I work 2 jobs to make ends meet. I work hard. Last year, I realized that I didn't feel right, I was tired all the time, more like exhausted. I was also finding myself out of breath alot. I knew something was wrong but ignored it for a while since my insurance is not the best. One day, while dusting, I could barely catch my breath I knew then there was an issue. Long story short , went to the er. Heart rate was 156. They had no idea why. I was referred to cardiology. After many tests and a misdiagnosis, I went somewhere else . I have a left bundle branch block caused by a benign nerve in my heart that causes it to beat fast at random times. I need to be on meds and may need a surgical procedure eventually. But I'm ok! Alive and well for my son. However I now have well over 3000.00 in medical bills I cannot pay and one bill was just sent to collections . I need help. I can barely pay my household bills. Its winter in pa, and I am just about out of propane! That's how I heat my home. I am at a loss. Please help me if you can.

I'm a 26-year-old chronically ill author with big dreams. I have lupus, which is an autoimmune disease that causes my immune system to attack to attack my tissues, organs, joints, and blood cells. In my case, my disease has attacked my kidneys, sending me into kidney failure and on dialysis until I'm able to be placed on the transplant list. Because I spend a lot of time in dialysis and/or in and out of hospitals, I'm unable to work a traditionally job outside of my home. My talent is writing, having already self-published several books already. I feel as if I have the potential to really make writing into a career for myself, but unfortunately it's very hard to market yourself when you only have $750 income a month from disability. I really want to take control of my life and to stop letting my disease control me. I strongly believe that I'd be able to achieve this is I had the financial means to at least hire professionals to help me with the marketing aspect of my career. I am a ten year veteran of the United States Marine Corps. I am in a serious situation, i Just started a new job, and I was getting my child support in order since not being able to get working until 7 months after getting separated from the service,  my bank allow the child support collection agency withdraw 5400 from my account even though I didn't have it to begin with.  it's almost Christmas time and now I can't get a tree or presents for my two girls let alone fill my oil tank or pay any of my bills... at this rate I won't be in the positives until February. please find it in your hearts to help someone whose just trying to stay afloat. thank you for your time.

I normally don’t do this type of thing, but my circumstances are dire.   I am a 59 year old father and grandfather, that haven’t seen his grandchildren in 3 weeks, due to my car breaking down.  Also, my son (their father) is having major stomach surgery in the next week at a hospital that is 50 miles away and it would be great if I could be there for him and my grandchildren.

I am an independent outside sales rep and having my car down for this time has cut off my straight commission income and depleted my savings.    The car (a 2001 PT Cruiser) needs a water pump, time chain and tires (winter is coming to my area soon).   Estimated cost is $1500. To $2000.
