Background 

Back in December 2024, I got laid off from my previous job. I recently started working as an English tutor, and currently it's the off season and most students are on break, so I haven’t had many classes. I’m currently struggling to pay rent and I’m a month behind because my savings were drained by medical expenses for my hypothyroidism. I can only work from home, so I can’t take on any jobs that require physical labor. On top of that, I haven’t had any new art commissions in months.


I am currently providing for my 60 year old mother and my 4 year old Dog named Neo.

right now all I ask is $500 for rent and groceries (food and Dog food for Neo) and I'll do the rest myself once peak season starts this June.

Hello, so my request for funds is a bit selfish, seeing everyone need funds for life changing things. My reasoning for this thread is to see if anyone would like to spare some funds to fund my entire PC setup which costs around $3k (monitors mouse keyboard etc etc) money is a tight for me at the moment, so anything helps thank you in advance

So this is the first time I'm asking strangers online for money, although I feel as though my request for money is a a little selfish, from scrolling through these threads for a few minutes.
