Star Living on a prayer
Posted by: tdaniels718 - 07-14-2023, 04:14 AM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

Dear Friends, Neighbors, and Compassionate Community Members,

We reach out to you today with heavy hearts and a desperate plea for help. Our beloved family has recently endured the devastating consequences of the December 2021 tornadoes that wreaked havoc in Kentucky. We have lost our home, our belongings, and our sense of stability. Now, we turn to you, our community, for support in rebuilding our lives and finding a glimmer of hope amidst the wreckage.

The tornadoes struck with unparalleled force, leaving behind a path of destruction and uprooting everything in their wake. Our family was caught in this unforgiving storm, forced to evacuate our home with nothing but the clothes on our backs. We have been left with the daunting task of picking up the pieces and starting anew. With your generous assistance, we hope to rebuild our lives and restore a sense of normalcy for our children and ourselves.

The funds we aim to raise through this donation fundraiser will be used to address several critical areas that need immediate attention:

1. **Temporary Shelter and Basic Necessities**: We need a safe and secure place to stay while we rebuild our lives. Your contributions will help us secure temporary accommodation, provide basic necessities such as food, clothing, and personal hygiene products, and ensure our children have a stable environment during this challenging time.

2. **Home Reconstruction**: Our home was completely destroyed, leaving us without a place to call our own. With your support, we can start the process of rebuilding our home, ensuring it is not just a house, but a sanctuary where our family can heal and create new memories.

3. **Essential Utilities and Infrastructure**: The tornadoes damaged critical infrastructure, including power lines, water supplies, and communication networks. Your donations will help us restore these essential services, allowing us to regain a sense of normalcy and stability.

4. **Educational Support for Children**: The tornadoes disrupted our children's education, causing them to miss valuable learning opportunities. Your contributions will help us provide them with necessary educational resources, tutoring, and counseling services to help them overcome the trauma they have experienced.

5. **Emotional and Mental Well-being**: The emotional toll of this disaster has been immense. We need support to access counseling and therapy services for our family members to heal and recover from the trauma inflicted by the tornadoes.

We understand that times are tough for everyone, and any amount you can contribute will be deeply appreciated. Even the smallest donation can make a significant impact on our journey towards rebuilding our lives. Together, we can show the power of compassion and community.

If you are unable to donate at this time, we kindly request your help in spreading the word. Share our story on social media, tell your friends, family, and coworkers about our fundraiser. Your efforts can make a world of difference.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your compassion, generosity, and unwavering support during this challenging time. Your contributions will help us rebuild our lives, restore our hope, and remind us that we are not alone.

With heartfelt gratitude

Tiffany Daniels

Exclamation Truly praying for someone to have a heart
Posted by: AngelCakes - 07-14-2023, 01:28 AM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

I posted a few days ago.
Since then, my heart was stomped on, because the only responses I got were from spammers trying to scam me out of money that I don't even have.
My home was suddenly taken from me in a fire last week. Myself, my partner and our 8 month old puppy barely made it out alive. We were very lucky. However, we only made it out with what we were wearing, no shoes, no socks, not even a leash our dog. We don't have a car. Due to the recent devastation in the state we live in, we are unable to get any help from the state. And all of the shelters are full as well. We also can't get help with a place to stay because we have a large breed dog, even though he is the sweetest. We don't have any family, none of the people in our lives have the means to help us. Which is very unfortunate especially considering that our entire lives, we have never hesitated to help anyone we could. But now being in this situation, I now wish that I went out of my way to help a stranger in my situation. Because i know what it would truly do for someone whos gone through a tragedy like this. I know that it would maybe make their world a little brighter for once.. I'm not stupid....I know that the chance of anyone helping me is slim to none. But I have to try because I don't have any way to feed my dog, let alone my partner or myself. We havent eaten in days. We will never leave our dog, ever, so we will continue to sleep in ATM breezeways and under bridges just so we can stay together. But I am here, begging, someone plase, have it in your heart to help me. I have nowhere else to turn. whether its 50 cents, 50 dollars or 1000$, we need dog food, a place to stay, clothes, shoes, at the very least we need some kind of blanket or tarp for when we sleep under these bridges, like we are tonight. Please help.

PLEASE HELP MY FRIEND IN NEED!
Posted by: glamstarchica101 - 07-14-2023, 12:14 AM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

Dear People,

My best friend is homeless and in a lot of debt. My best friend is stuck living in a rental car in Rhode Island and barely has any money to eat or do anything. I want to help my best friend by letting my best friend live with me in my apartment in my hometown. But, I don't have enough to help my best friend pay off the debt they owe. Gasoline isn't cheap, all of my friend's things are in storage units that my best friend won't have access to unless my best friend pays the fees to keep all of their belongings so their storage unit doesn't go up for auction. My best friend needs to pay off their phone bill, and storage units. My best friend needs money for food, car rental fees, gasoline, a hotel, more clothes, and a moving U-haul truck that can carry a car as well. My best friend would need $6,000 to partially pay off the debt they owe and partially to move from Providence, Rhode Island to my hometown before the summer ends.

Anything helps!

  Struggling to make ends meet

Hi everyone! I’m currently unemployed, married to a wonderful husband, and have two children. We do our best to pay all our bills on time but are still falling short. We have had two home repairs since we moved into our house 2 years ago. However, we need more home repairs to take place and can’t afford them. Plus, we got into credit card debt while trying to pay for regular day to day needs. Please consider donating to my PayPal page. https://www.paypal.com/donate/?business=NCRDVHM32G6VG&no_recurring=0&item_name=Hi+everyone%21+I%E2%80%99m+currently+unemployed%2C+married%2C+and+have+two+children.+We+are+struggling+to+make+it+work.¤cy_code=USD

Posted by: FreeMe30 - 07-13-2023, 11:39 AM - Forum: My Request for Help - No Replies

Hello
My name is K, I’m 30 years old with a 4 year old daughter.
Im currently jobless renting a room as I was behind on rent.
My Landlord gave us a 1 month notice to leave the room, as he will be selling the house. A room would cost me around $1000 with first month and deposit.
Trying to safe while being jobless and depending on other people to eat is not easy. I’m also currently undergoing a job training but won’t be able to start until the 9/1/2023.
Any little helps??
