I am a single parent, a breadwinner and taking care of 7 people, myself, my son, 3 cousins and 2 nephews. I am no longer working, and had to forcefully resign at work due to a toxic environment that affected my health, I was diagnosed with stress which led me to have a mild stroke. It was a difficult decision to leave my work with my family circumstances, but for my son I had to give up my work so I could have my life back and be able to live longer and care for him. I was using my savings to pay bills (rent, electricity, accounts and buy food). Late last year my son was diagnosed with a hernia and ear infection, I managed to pay for treatment but now he needs to go for an operation, I need R18 000 ($863) for hospital and medical bills. I think R8000 will be able to cover for material I need, pay bills and buy essential bulk food like maize, cooking oil, toiletry, cleaning detergents and etc. The total of R26 000 ($1250) I believe will be able to cover for everything. I am here asking you all to help me raise money for my son's medical fees, buy material to start this small business and buy food to back us up for a couple of months while I still figure a way out from all the challenges I am dealing with. I have tried and asked for help from my relatives and friends, yes some were able to help for those particular months but now I feel like I am bothering them by keep asking them each month to help me, I feel they also have their own problems to deal with but more, I am embarrassed that my life has turned out this way. I have applied for social grant assistance, but for myself I have given up because I am turned to go from one place to another since my application does not go through successfully. And for my son I applied online last October, I did an inquiry about it and it is still in process, I guess I should keep waiting for its approval. I feel helpless yet I have to keep going strong for my family.

My name is Aaron, I work full time in the KY Nation Guard and I'm a single father of two sweet young girls ages five and seven living in Western Kentucky. 

It's been two months since a tornado tore through my hometown in KY and destroyed land and property. Thankfully I was home and the girls and I were able to shelter in the cellar, but our home took quite a bit of damage including collapsed supports, broken windows and major roof damage. 

We have managed to scrape by on meager savings and finish many of the repairs while staying with a family friend nearby, but now were down to having the roof repaired and the cost is staggering. Unfortunately, after my wife died and we moved to Kentucky last February, I never got around to insuring our house and now my family is paying for it. I have applied and been denied for state assistance and we are starting to wear out our welcome for where we are staying now.

I have gotten multiple estimates on repair cost with the lowest being $10,500. I in no way expect to receive large sums of money from anyone, but every dollar will add up towards our goal of being back in our home soon. Even if you can spare $25 or $50 dollars to help with groceries, the car payment, or gas to work and the kid's school it would be very much appreciated.

we are trying to Pay for my brother's vet bills after tragedy struck the evening of 01/28/22 where a truck collided with his team. One dog tragically passed and the incident left several others injured. Flint and Kona had the worst of the injuries, Flint had extensive surgery on his front legs that will require several follow-up visits every 2 days and then down the road laser therapy and physical rehab. Kona has a broken pelvis that also requires follow-up visits every 2 days and may need flown back to the lower 48 to be transported to a specialist. Additionally, Felicity has now been found. She is hospitalized and may need her leg amputated. We are raising these funds to help with the vet bills going forward as they all have a long road ahead of them.

So I've never tried this and I'm very new to this. Ive tried every last resort all the way down to trying loan apps with no success as either my credit is too poor or my chime account wasn't compatible. I have a wife and three children who depend on me. I only make 9 an hour working full time doing laundry for a nursing home. I would have never thought that I would get to this place in life, where I felt this low. At the end of 2021, I had been scammed by someone who was posing as a bank representative. I was stressed at work when I received a text which I thought was from my bank, that said fraud alert someone has taken 3000 dollars out of your account. When I texted back that I was not familiar with these withdrawals I was quickly phoned by someone and they said what I thought at the time, all the right things, and had convinced me to zelle them money. I felt stupid, awful, and absolutely violated. They had left me with almost nothing and continued to try and take more from me after. From there I had to save up my money again. Come 2022, I have had a lot of car trouble and knew that I needed to get a car fast. I saw that a co-worker on Instagram had found a way to make quick money and had posted on her page and story. Little did I know that this was a scam. By the time she had regained her account and told everyone I had already invested my money. I have continued to try and get the money back from my scammers, but it is no use. The only thing I can do is file a report, but I did not lose enough money to make a solid case to refund anything back to me. I now barely have any money and I still need to buy a car immediately. I do not want to tell my parents because I am still embarrassed about the last time I was scammed. I have never felt this low in my life, it is an awful feeling to be taken advantage of, not just once but twice. I know this may be asking a lot, but I am in need of at least 4000 dollars so that I can buy a new car before the one I own now gives out. I am trying to sell my car on Monday (02/08/22) and if I cannot raise any money, I am going to have to take out a loan and I am really trying to avoid that.
