Hello I am Bikash with 4 family member. But unfortunately my life situation very hard now. I got a job in 2016 as a teacher in lower primary school. My family member cultivator as betelnut business, all my home expenditure spend from this business.we are poor family dont have own brick house. We plan to take loan from bank to build brick house to live with family. I got loan from bank $13100 and build a little house. But during covid 19 we are lost our betelnut business from then my life come to hard. I couldn't manage my home expenditure with my little salary otherwise repay my loan, I have already paid $3100 to my loan. But now i can not repay my loan, the bank call me again and again to repay my loan immediately ,they aslo warned me if not repay my loan they put me to jail.With my little salary if I pay for my loan then my family will be no food, if I pay for family food then I can not repay my loan. Now my life in depression what should I do I dont know.If some donors can help me to repay my loan $10000 I shall be grateful to those person who help me in my hard situation life. I am 46 years old. I have two beautiful sons, Joshua and Jesse, aged 18 and 16 respectively. I am married to a pastor, and we live in a small town in the Northern Cape of South Africa, Africa.
I have always prided myself on being a hard-working, dedicated woman. I have an Honors degree in Counseling Psychology, and over the past few years have worked as a teacher in elementary school, which I have loved.
However, in August 2021 I tested positive for Covid, the Delta pandemic. I got Covid bronchitis twice, 21 days apart and needed to go to hospital, but could not afford it. Since then my lungs have been aching. My anosmia (loss of smell/ taste) turned into parosmia (terrible smells and tastes) in October, and since then I have lost about 33 pounds (15,4 kilograms). My heartbeat is irregular and I am suffering with extreme fatigue.
For the past four years I have battled with major clinical depression and panic / anxiety disorder. I have sought the help of a psychologist, psychiatrist, therapy and medication. Presently my doctor is treating me medically and it is under control.
I am currently in bed with my fourth case of bacterial lung infection. The doctor told me this week that the long covid has caused a lot of inflammation around my heart, lungs and damaged nerves in my olfactory system. He has said that I cannot be active at all until this passes. He estimates that the process could still take 18 to 24 minths, based on the current scientific research being done around long-covid.
I was very busy the week before and after Easter at church with outreach in our community, a local high school, our church, and a children's home nearby. This has offset this latest infection.
In the past almost 9 months my medical bills have been about R40 000 (about $2 540). Hearing that I can now do nothing has broken my heart. My son starts studying next year and with all these bills I have caused for my family, I have no idea how to assist with study fees. I have gotten quotes on starting a home business to provide an extra income. It is not physical work so I would be able to manage it, but would require about R20 000 (almost $1 400). My first option would be to go back to teaching but the long-Covid will not allow for this.
In desperation I am reaching out to individuals / celebrities who are known for giving, and your name was mentioned. I am not asking for a specific amount of money, but rather any small contribution so that I can help my family. I want to bring in an income so we can get out of the medical debt, and also work towards things like a short family vacation. I have been indoors about 85% of the time for the past almost 9 months, and I just want to live without this huge financial burden.

Hello! I will make this as short As possible as I know people don’t have a lot of time. November 27th I fell down my basement steps heading to do laundry. I broke my tibia, a spiral/winged fracture. Had surgery 12/1/21 to have a rod placed in my leg. I am just now getting to where I am up and moving. By the Grace of God to this point I have been able to make it. I had start my own business a month before the injury and while bed ridden, with the help of family I did what I could to still keep it going. However, I have to go back to work but I can’t until June 10th.
I have maxed out all credit cards, my great credit score is ruined, but the worst of it all, I am losing everything I have worked so hard for. My business equipment is about to be taken because I haven’t been able to pay the monthly financing, I am about to be evicted because there are NO RENT RESOURCES, trust me I have tried. My car is about to be repossessed, and I am also in school and becuase of the financial stress I am doing terribly when I am normally a student on the Deans List. I have exhausted help from family and friends, loans, churches, resources, etc. i am not eligible for Disability because the doctor says I can go back to work before the year that disability requires. In total, to catch everything up and breathe a little I need at least $2500. I need to catch up on rent and my business equipment so I can continue to side hustle until my new job begins.
Anything helps. Even a $1 I am more than grateful for. I truly don’t know what else to do. All I have left is my faith in humanity, that someone out there will understand and have it in their heart to help. I am a very prideful person so this is harder on me than I ever imagined it would be. I am so ready to have my independence back. To have a little peace of mind. Times are hard for everyone right now and I do understand that. I pray for all those in a similar situation. I lost my father last year and things just seemed to snowball from there. Anyway, now I am rambling. I have said my peace, now I place it in the hands of God and people to hopefully help pull me through this. Somehow someway.
