Hello – I am writing this with shame borne out of desperation! The public's generosity is amazing, but I fear what I am asking is beyond even your exceptional benevolence!


My wife, Suzanne, is my life. She struggles with her health, having been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 13 years ago. Despite all this, she stays positive and remains a joy to be with for everybody who is lucky enough to meet her. I so want to spoil her, but to give her everything she deserves is impossible, as there is not enough money in the world for that! But, the problem is that I do not have any money to spoil her in any way. I cannot even afford to do what I, selfishly, want more than anything, which is to spend more time with her.

For me, the purpose of money falls into six categories – the six L’s. They are:
·        LIFE – the day-do-day cost of living.
·        LOVE – it may not cost anything, but to give your loved one that something extra can cost.
·        LEISURE – everybody needs some time off to recharge their batteries. However, as a contractor, if I take time off, I do not get paid, and that I cannot afford
·        LIBERTY – the more money you have, the more freedom you have to do what you want, when you want. Personally, all I want is the free time to spend with my wife.
·        LUXURY – how I would dearly love to be able to take my wife away for a break in the sun, where her symptoms are relieved. Or to buy her that piece of jewellery that would put a big smile on her face!
·        LEGACY – we all want to leave something behind for our offspring. I am no exception. However, as things stand, all I have to leave our gorgeous son is the knowledge that he was loved, totally and unconditionally.
I worry for our future. Having been made redundant four times since my wife’s diagnosis, our finances have been decimated. We have no property, so we can only afford to rent. Our car, which I need for work, is fully financed and we have no savings, no pension and no hope for the future. I have built up substantial debts to cover our living expenses whilst I was off work and have the taxman on my back as well! My health is suffering as I worry, not so much for me, but for my wife. I cannot bear the thought of letting her down and seeing her suffer in any way at all, as stress exacerbates her condition.
We are not greedy people. We are pleasant, honest, law-abiding, loving people who will do anything to help others. We are just in a position where now we are the ones who need a little help. I work hard, both at home, looking after my wife, and at work full-time. But, no matter how hard we try, we just cannot get our heads above water. Our love is the only thing that keeps me going. We have been married for 24 years and are more in love than ever. It breaks my heart that we are in this situation, but I have to keep going to keep a roof over our heads and food on the table.
I appreciate that there are people worse off than ourselves. But, I have to do what is best for my wife and my son and I am sure you can understand that. I don’t know if you can, but if you are able to help at all, you could make such a huge difference to our lives and I would be eternally grateful.

I have wrote this 3 times & I keep going over in words so I'm going to keep it as simple as I can this time. My mother was forced into retirement do to a fall she had and since then she's had a series of medical problems arise. I'll name just a few. At 69 she was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes, she had to go in & out of hospital many times landing in ICU from low blood sugar to all out high blood sugar landing her in a coma. At one hospital stay she fell breaking her hip She had to have a complete hip replacement. She was wanting  to return  to work as a over the road truck driver but do to her health she can't. She needs help with medication insulin life threatening to not take and get enough funds to move back to our home state . the  transmission went out on her truck so we don't have transportation I know this all sounds crazy but it can all be verified.. She needs  help towards insulin however our goal is also to get back home. Kentucky is where we're from but we can't ever seem to get the money together to move and now our electric was shut off. Mom was in the hospital 2 weeks ago and forgot to pay electric bill so it got shut off 2 days ago.  We won't have money untill 2nd week of April. We've been basicky sitting in the dark and all of our food has ruined. As I said all of this can be verified. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you

I've never been the one to ask for anything, especially financial assistance. I've always been a hard worker. I've been working since I was 14yrs old. I've always kept a job and strived to do better. At this point in life I’m struggling. In December I was let go from The Board of Education. My rainy day money is done s of March 1, 2022. I  have a degress in Early Childhood Education, I worked as a Head Start Teacher, Ran my own Day Care, Had the opportunity to work in a school but was let go. I do have the skills and have the qualifications in other fields but I haven’t been successful in obtaining a new job. Currently rent is $875, utilities $220, cable package $185, credit card bill $648. I've resorted to going to a loan shark & now my payment is payment $1,500. I NEED help ASAP!!! this is the third time i have tried writing a post, so a little about me i have two little boys one 10 and the other 3. i have  rough coupke of years. i lost my job and then became homeless and had to live in a hostel. i am now in priv ate accomadation that isnt up to scratch. i would like to have some spare money to get the place in order and be able to get me and my boys on our feet. im in a fair bit of debt so it does not leaave much left over for clothes and food. we are trying to make the best of it. im trying to raise £1000 to get the flat sorted and get me and my boys some much needed bits and bobs in. thank you for reading.

Early Childhood Education teacher turned Arts & Crafts seller since I lost my job in December due to Covid. My car was totalled by a drunk driver. Aunt who has taken the responsibility of raising my 14yr old niece and 13yrs old twin nephews since 2015. A fur mom of a tea cup yorkie name Coffee with a special diet his food is expensive & a chocolate point siamese cat name Frap-Puccino who suffers from seizures her medications is expensive her vet bill is astronomical. At this point didn't know where else to turn. I'm backed up on my bills and really struggling to get by. I've asked for help from the little bit of family I have, so far it's been unsuccessful. First and foremost I would like to say thank you for allowing me to post in this forum and to say whatever help or advice I receive is appreciated in advance.

    My ordeal started in January of 2021. I was put on ten days leave from my job due to COVID-19. This being unpaid leave. So, I took it upon myself to file for unemployment meanwhile. I was thinking I may use one or two checks from them and be back to work. I of course thinking that's what it's for in the first place. I had just bought a car in October the year prior. Car payments being roughly $350 a month. After ten days I still hadn't heard anything from my job or unemployment. As a matter of fact I hadn't heard from either two months later. Thank goodness for the stimulus we received in March of 2021 because it bought me a few more months with my car. I paid three payments and hoped for the best. Come April unemployment asked for verification of identity to which I had no problems sending. After which I still wasn't receiving any kind of news from unemployment. It was right around July when I finally figured out that my unemployment had been hacked and also around this same time my car was repossessed. So, that's why I wasn't receiving information because at this point they didn't know whether I was legitimately me. Even though I had sent verification of identity twice at that time. So, I got in touch with channel six news 'Make ends meet' because they were investigating the unemployment fraud cases. I also wrote the Governor also the Senator all to no avail. As a matter of fact this is still ongoing. Next step is the Attorney general's office. Meanwhile I live in a very rural area of Ocala FL. Most meaningful employment being around 25 miles away. I've been doing surveys and whatever I can for some income but it isn't much. Public transportation isn't available here and I've found most people are Not very dependable when it comes to giving rides. I've generally been a go getter most of my life raising my two daughters as a single mom. But I've become utterly depressed and completely disgusted with my state for allowing my information to just be hacked and then I'm treated like a criminal and can't receive the help I need when I needed it. 
I'm asking for any kind of help possible. And I hope for a better situation for all the people that are here for the same reason as I am. I'm just ready to get back to work and  get things back on track because as of last year my life has been turned upside down.

I lost my father to COVID-19  in February 2022. My mother just tried to commit a suicide. She is patient of Hypertension & suffering from Spinal Tuberculosis.
As we are aware, How second wave has destroyed so many families across india and the world. It has been very awful few months for many many people.
It has always been just 4 of us all our life. Me, My little sister, My dad & my mom. We've been a middle class family, my dad was working as helper in factory & I have a job of Office Boy, my sister is in school, my mom has been a house-wife.
My dad has left us with huge debt, we've cleared most of it by selling every asset we had. We've sold Gold, FDs, liquidated everything. We're still some way short & we've ran out of every option. We're only left with our home now & My mom won't be able to survive watching our home gets sold. But still as last resort we're putting it up for sale as well but it won't happen overnight.
We don't have any relatives, we have no one to turn to. Except friends who have been huge support so far. My mom keeps telling me and my sister ''Lets die together, there seems to be no way out" I can't see her like this, she had lost all hope. My mom already tried to suicide & now saying, "I don't want to go alone, come with me and we'll do it together". Everyday is going with pain and without any hope.
I have started this as last resort to give her hope.
Please help me save her, any amount how so ever small would be of great help.

I didn't know where else to turn anymore, so here I am, on my knees, desperately seeking any assistance. 

A few months back, I found myself at the disastrous end of finding myself unemployed due to the pandemic, and in spite of the protection of the CDC's eviction moratorium, I was thrown out of what had been my home for the past six years... unprepared, alone, and terrified. Me and my sweet boy had never been through anything like this. In a moment of panic and uncertainty, I boarded him at a local shelter.. my only focus was to keep him safe and warm while I tried to get my life back together for the boh of us. 

When I started falling behind on payments, I explained the situation to the shelter and for a while, they understood. 

Until now, and they're threatening to take him and adopt him out.

I am absolutely in a state of anguish and fear and hurt. My boy Loki has been with me since he was 6 weeks old... He's now going on 8. I'm all he knows and he's my lifeline. I've never been separated from him this long and I'm absolutely desperate to bring him home where he belongs.

So I'm here today, asking for help for my boy, to bring him home to me. To make our little family whole again.

Anything helps and I can't express the level of gratitude for any help.

I've learnt and experienced from my own life that giving is the best way to develop character, the joy in giving even a little, nothing compares to it. I've been on the giving end in the past, I gave wholeheartedly, and I am now on the receiving end.
I'm from Cameroon and currently in Tunisia for studies (in engineering) and my graduation is this year. Except I can't graduate without paying my $3000 tuition fees of this year. My father has been sacmmed and lost about a $100 000 which was about all his savings since he is now retired... And since two years now here, I strive for a way out for me and my family.

I've started working online as a freelancer in design and motion graphics for french people. It helped me make about $5300 (You can see pictures below) 


I choose that path because I am actually starting a online agency and it might take time  because I started with $120 and nearly no knowledge, instead $20 000 (that could help with taking the right entrepreneurship courses, getting a few great team members on-board, the right gears, and work only with the right clients - enterprises that are a force for good in today's world) it my take time, but it's going to be a leading agency in Africa and over the world.

But right now, between my cost of living here, the investment needed to offer better services, and my school that takes lot of time, it's hard prioritising one thing over the others.
I barely finished paying last year's tuition fees, and got a new computer in hope  to get better project. But since it might take time I have to humbly and shameffully ask you for anything that you could give me.
