Back in the middle of August I got COVID that lasted all the way till late October/early November, and still don't feel 100% better. Since then I fell behind on bills, lost my transportation, and have been struggling to catch up on bills as well as have money to get groceries. This year unfortunately has not been a good year for my family as my husband and I have struggled with getting new jobs after being laid of by covid previously. We thought things were going well until covid hit our family hard once again and it took my father from me on September 28th of this year. It took everything we had to make sure he was able to be laid to rest and once again we felt like we were starting over. I am 26 years old, lost both of my parents and have 2 girls 6 and 8. My husband just tested positive for covid 2 weeks ago and we both had to miss 2 weeks of work with no pay so close to the holidays. We now have no Christmas money to be able to buy anything for our children. I'm not asking for much just a few presents for them Is all. I am not worried about myself or my husband, we don't need anything, I just worry about them.  They are such good kids and have gone through a lot and I don't want them to have to suffer. The passing of my Uncle has been so unexpected like a rug has been sweep under our feet. My Uncle helped many people including my grandmother who is his mom and myself. My grandmother is retired and im a single mother that works from home. With everything going on in the world right now and unexpected expenses we have been tight. We do not wish to have a huge funeral for the exstented family but only to have a little ceremony between the immediate family. I am a single mom of two amazing boys. One is in college and the other is in middle school. I have, unexpectedly, been out of work for about a week and a half and am expected to be out of work for one more week. Unfortunately, I only had enough time to cover a little over two days of that. This is all due to a large kidney stone, which is now stuck in my ureter, which in turn is causing severe swelling of my left kidney due to the blockage. The most painful thing ever that I wouldn’t wish on anybody. Needless to say, this brings unexpected medical expenses. I have a $5000 deductible with my insurance. Of that amount, I have maybe met about $500 of, as I am fairly healthy and rarely have to see the doctor for anything. Once the deductible is met, I am still responsible for 20%. I have already had one ER visit due to this which included a CT scan. Now, I am scheduled for Lithotripsy next week. I do not have the bill from the ER yet and have not been given an amount for next week’s procedure. However, between the two, I am sure I will be expected to pay atleast $5000 out of pocket. Being a single mom, with one in college, we already basically live paycheck to paycheck. Now, I am losing two weeks worth of pay from work on top of these unexpected medical bills. This has me very stressed out. It is Christmas time, and here I am, unsure how I am gonna get all my regular bills paid and how I am gonna pay for these medical bills….. I cannot even think about Christmas. Which, of course, breaks my heart. But as long as I can spend the holidays with my boys, we will be okay as far as Christmas is concerned….and my boys will understand.
I have never been one to ask for help, as I have always been very independent. However, I know that I really need some help right now.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated! If there is anything left after paying the medical bills, it will be used towards paying my regular bills that still need to be paid. I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!❤

 I am in the Salisbury NC area and i really need a help up. I'm suffering from Schitzoaffective disorder and I'm in dire need of my medication. The ER will not help because I have no health insurance. All my family members are very judgemental and they aren't going to help.
