Hi everyone. My name is Joaquin, and I’m asking for help getting a laptop so I can learn coding and app development.
I’m currently on SSDI and live with my mom. After my sister passed away, we became responsible for raising my niece. Money is extremely tight, and there’s no way for me to afford a laptop powerful enough to run coding software or online development tools. Right now, that’s the only thing standing between me and the ability to seriously learn a skill that could change our future.
My goal is to learn programming and eventually build apps, including a receipt-scanning rewards app idea I’ve been planning for a long time. Coding is something I can do from home and grow over time, but without the proper equipment, I’m stuck before I can even begin.
Any help—whether it’s a donation, advice, or pointing me toward resources—would mean a lot. I’m motivated, committed, and willing to put in the work. I just need the opportunity to start.
