Hi,
I was homeless and on the streets at 15, I worked hard and I put myself through nursing school. I finally have somewhere to live, and got my first job as an ER nurse. Sadly because I had to pay a deposit to be able to rent, I won’t be able to afford to eat this month. I am so deflated, I have worked so hard and I am really struggling, I don’t know how I can survive this month all because I’ve finally qualified as a nurse. I’m not entitled to any benefits, and even if I was the screening process can take up to 10 weeks. I really just need help so I can afford to eat this month, and get fuel for my car so I can even get to work.
If anyone can help at all my PayPal is: paypal.me/beardh

Hello my brothers. My name is Maria, I am 30 years old. I have two children aged 6 and 3. I am married and I live with my husband, But we have gone through many challenges in life and also a lot of economic instability.
My husband was fired from his job since April so we had no other way to live and found ourselves in debt to pay fees, house rent, transportation and buy food so that our children can live. My husband got another job in August but his monthly income is not enough to handle us all. I was praying that if anyone would be touched to help me with what he will be given by God he can do it.
If I can be able to get 10,000$ it will help me to grow my business, pay children's fees and house rent. We will also be able to get rid of the debts we have. I know that someone will be touched and God will multiply him more because he who has mercy on the poor is lending to God and God will never forget him.
I don't like begging but I did not have any other choice. Please help and God will bless you my brothers. Thank you.

I'm going to copy and paste from my GoFundMe since it sums everything up pretty well:
Hi everybody. It's me, your friend or acquaintance (or potentially a stranger?) that lives paycheck to paycheck. Well, actually, not even that. I haven't had a paycheck in 6 years or so. I had such bad panic attacks at my job that I had to stop going, resulting in an eviction from my studio in NoHo.
Over the last 6 years, I've relied on some good friends to help find me a living situation that is VERY affordable for most any place, but especially in Los Angeles. Even without an actual W2 job, I've managed to get buy with dog walking and sitting, something I absolutely love to do. Also, the occasional acting gig and a little bit of PA work. As horrible as the pandemic was, the unemployment I received during that time really helped me get ahead.
With those extra funds, I invested in the stock market. Apparently, I'm trash at it because I've lost about $13,000 in the market over the course of the last two years or so. And now I find myself back where I was, scraping to get by. Now, that might have been fine, but I also racked up some debt during that time by getting some equipment for zoom meetings and streaming. I have a twice weekly acting class over zoom. I also put a lot of necessary home improvement costs on credit cards, adding to the debt. All the while, thinking it would work out ok if my investments paid off. Well, they haven't.
All of this would be problematic enough if I wasn't faced with another issue. My roommate of the last six years is going to be moving in with his boyfriend very soon, sooner than had ever been previously discussed: December 1 of this year. About two months.
I was already massively stressed about my finances, but this adds another level on top of all that. I've applied for SSI because my mental health has made it impossible for me to maintain a long term job. Again, dog walking and sitting and acting jobs are all short term gigs that I can manage. The decision for SSI likely won't come for 3 to 5 months and I either need to find a way to stay in my place (with even one roommate, it might be very affordable, assuming the landlord doesn't raise the rent to an obscene degree since it's been rent controlled for about ten years), or find another place to live. That would be extremely hard without any nest egg or reliable income. I'm already stretched pretty thin, so this seems like an impossible situation for me.
Thank you.

Hello, unfortunately I have fallen victim to an unethical company. I was supposed to receive my paycheck 2 weeks ago and still haven’t heard a thing.. basically I’m just trying to come up with $100 dollars for groceries to feed my family and gas money to get to and from work for the next 2 weeks.. I hate to resort to asking random strangers for help, but I’m truly at my breaking point and I don’t know what to do.. Anything is greatly appreciated and thank you for even taking the time to read this even if you can’t help.. If you are able my Cashapp account is $TheShells27 and I appreciate your kind donation so much and know that it will make a world of difference to my family even if it’s $10 to afford something to eat.. Thank you so much!

My name is Jason and im in dire need of financial assistance. We were a happy family of 5 a few months back! But since my wife ran off and left us Im now a struggling single father of three, already so far behind with two car payments a house payment plus all utiltiies and a lot of extra time off of work(7yr old with Retts Disorder level 3). already lost the house, have to be out this week, and forfieted one vehicle as theres only one driver. Lost my job due to not being there. Just trying to get utulities caught up so i can rent a place soon and be able to stay afloat as we are moving into a hotel for now. Working with housing and local resources but its slow and im outta time with 3 jkids under 12 to take care of. Have the job situation figured out but the default on house loan and it going into foreclosure has killed any chance of a loan.anything and everything helps, just want to feed my kids and give them a decent place to live!
Thank you

From Darkness to Hope: Help Us Escape the Nightmare. |

My name is Yves Salomon, and my story began in Cité Soleil, Haiti, in 1980. I was born into a world of love and support, where empathy, kindness, and connection were our guiding stars. Growing up, I learned the profound joy of caring for others and felt a calling to make the world a better place to live by volunteering and helping others in anyway I could. I have two precious children who are my heart's treasure. Their future became my mission, their dreams my purpose.
I love foreign languages, I speak Creole, French, English, Spanish, a little bit of Italian and Brazilian Portuguese;I’ve always been a fast learner. I Like music, reading, writing, poetry, movies, animals and nature; and above all, I love dogs.
A Hellish Descent:
But life's journey can be cruel. Cité Soleil, once our haven, has transformed into a nightmare of insecurity. Gang wars, murder, and the absence of basic infrastructure, have turned our beloved home into a battleground; No electricity, no medical care,no water, no education .... Then, two years ago, tragedy struck when I lost everything in a devastating house fire. My savings for my children's education, my video editing equipment, and my dreams of starting a business—all reduced to ashes. I was left with nothing but a crushing $5,000 debt. This tragedy made my loving family fall apart.
Homeless and Desperate:
For months, I slept amidst the wreckage, homeless and hungry. Every day was a battle for survival, where finding food trumped finding shelter. The pain of it all seemed unbearable,I even considered suicide as the ultimate option until a dear friend, a true angel in human form, extended a helping hand. I found refuge with him and his family, even as violence raged around us.
A Cold-Blooded Nightmare:
Then, on March 3rd, a chilling gang war erupted. We were sitting together, our hearts heavy with dread, when armed men descended upon us. They claimed to be the police, falsely accusing us of recording them. In a flash, our world turned to horror. My friend, a loving father, was shot multiple times, his life stolen. I faced the barrel of a gun, waiting for my own execution, and took a step back in desperation.
The Only Path Forward:
Now, I find myself back on the unforgiving streets, seeking a new beginning for my family and my late friend's bereaved loved ones. Through it all, I've emerged unbroken, determined, and unyielding. I've come to view every obstacle as a stepping stone, each challenge as an opportunity for growth.
Immediate Needs: Your contribution to this campaign will help me cover immediate needs for our two families that are now united as one for which I’m the breadwinner. Your generous donations will help us cover expenses like : pay for housing, buy food, buy clothing, generate our own electricity, pay for new passports, and debt repayment.
It might not be evident that passports are crucial toward ensuring our safety and mobility. But in a country plagued by insecurity, political instability, and uncertainty, a valid passport is our ticket to a safer future. It grants us the ability to seek refuge in a more stable and peaceful location, away from the daily threats we face. But,in this country, the passport making process is extremely complicated and costs a arm and a leg. Many people have died in the process, some of them were killed by police officers, some others were kidnapped or killed by gangs.
Together, we can take the first step towards rebuilding our lives.
The Dream Lives On:
My ultimate goal is to lead my family in a safe place, seeking refuge in a foreign land until Haiti's storm of violence subsides. Our beloved country has become a hunting ground, forcing us to live in the shadows to survive. Leaving is our only choice, but it's a costly one. Passports, flights, and a fresh start—all come with a steep price. I’ve always dreamed of living a digital nomad lifestyle,by becoming a content creator and a cybersecurity specialist.
How Each Donation Will Help Us Survive This Nightmare:
? Repay the overwhelming $5,000 debt.
?$4000 to rent a house ,in Haiti, house rents are made on yearly basis.
?$800 to buy food.
?$1000 to buy clothing.
?$1600 Obtain new passports for myself, my two children and their mother.
?$1200 to buy portable solar generator kit.We will be able to carry it wherever we may go.
?$400 for a new cellphone. In oder to stay connected with you, my donors, and provide you regular updates wherever I might be. It will also be useful in my remote job search .
?$1000 to cover transaction fees and other expenses.
Your contribution to this campaign will make a significant impact on our journey. With your generosity, we can survive this nightmare, obtain the passports we need to move toward safety and stability. Every donation brings us one step closer to a brighter tomorrow.
