Hi, my husband and I usually work as Certified Sterile Processing Technicians, but we are both currently inbetween jobs and trying to avoid eviction before we get our first paychecks. We are signing with AYA to start working contracts asap. Jobs are practically guaranteed and hospitals are offering rates almost double than what they were a year ago so after starting we'll be alright. Now however we're finding it tough getting the funds needed for all of our bills. The most pressing expense is rent, we are unable to cover it, eviction is looming. [attachment=760]Hello, I’m currently in a tough situation that I’m sure others have faced or are currently facing because of expensive childcare, disabilities that hinder working a full time job, and raising two young kids, with little to no help (I can barely breathe from my financial turmoil right now. I no longer have a working vehicle since it’s transmission is shot and I am unfortunately still making monthly payments, while it taunts me from the driveway. I had serious debilitating surgery on my lower lumbar years ago, and was told I may not walk again. Since that diagnosis, I’ve worked and had two beautiful children. It is a crucial developmental time in their lives and I want the best for my children. Even if it has come down to “begging” for money. Christmas is approaching quickly and I’m not one to spoil my children with a lot of material possessions, but to be able to at least know they’ll have something to make their day special. I am also currently taking care of my elderly parents at this time also. It’s been a hard year, especially not being able to provide what I could have normally done when I could work full time and not have to worry over bills being paid late and ultimately living paycheck to paycheck. It’s been a physical and emotional trauma. I do hate to beg, but I’ve tried all that I can (babysitting for friends, selling what I can to make some grocery money, (I am so thankful for WIC) I even have to borrow a friends car just to make sure my parents are getting their groceries and medicine. Hello I’m Theresa and I’m 48yr old mother of an 8 yr old and have worked all my life I recently had to stop working my overnight freight unloading job at a retail pharmacy due to arthritis in both my knees and have totally drained all my savings and unemployment resources. I have been applying to jobs that are more sedentary with absolutely no luck. I applied for ssdi (disability) and was turned down because “ I could get a job that I could be sedentary at and only lift up to 10 lbs”. I am in serious need to cover bills this month while I try to figure out what to do next. I don't want to complicate things with many details, so if you have questions just ask. I'm 53 and been working overseas for several years. Not exotic as it might sound, just a decent life. Around the time of Covid I was diagnosed with tuberculosis (TB), and been very sick ever since. I went through a 9 month treatment with powerful antibiotics that kept me very ill the whole time. Afterwards my breathing kept getting worse, and then found I still have a strenuous pulmonary infection from the same TB family. So I'm back on the hard meds again and currently require supplemental oxygen to breathe throughout most of the day.

During this time the company I worked for had financial problems and disappeared. Because I was ill for so long and no one contacted me, I made a mistake about the visa expiration date. Now I'm correcting this with a temporary medical extension of stay, but there are costs involved that will have to come out of rent money.

Throughout most of my treatment I had a decent savings and spent only on meds, hospitals and rent while travel restrictions have been in place the whole time for Covid. But by my 2nd diagnosis it was mostly all gone. Family and friends were the first to help, but many have hard times after Covid. Needing oxygen and continuing treatment as I do, if I find myself unable to pay rent in a foreign country it could become life threatening very quickly. It's clear I can't fly without oxygen, and airlines do not provide this. They do allow certain models of portable, battery powered O2 concentrators with 1.5X battery power of the total flight duration, but these are difficult to source and cost roughly USD $3k.

What I urgently need now is temporary help with rent and continuing meds, and any help towards acquiring one of the airline approved portable O2 units that could help me finally get back home. If I could make it home, family can at least help with basic needs and survival. If you can see it within your heart to help donate, I will definitely pay it forward when possible. I am 28 from Austin Texas. And I’m a single mother of a 4 year old also the primary caregiver for my elderly mother. November is never a good month for me since 2014 the year my 6 month old baby passed away. Horrible luck haunts me and all I want to be able to do is provide a better life for my 4 year old daughter. Hi there, my name is Róbert and I live in the winter wonderland of Iceland.
I know there are people out there who need more help than I do, so please if you want to help someone out, check out other people who are struggling more than I am.

These past two years have been hard financially for me and for a lot of other people. I had a part time job for those two years while studying. I had a student loan that I had to pay in full my second year because I failed a class. And now I finally have a good full time job, but I still can’t enjoy my earnings because I have so many depts on my back. I appreciate every single one of you, just for reading this. It’s good to get it off my chest somehow, not just hold it all in and pretend everything is fine. My family has been able to help but I haven’t told them about all the depts because I don’t want them to go broke just by helping me pay off my depts. I also lost my stepdad in May, was a very difficult time. Not only did we go through a loss of a loved one, so much terrible stuff came up after that. I don’t think I should share the details on that on here. I hope anyone who is going through tough times can relate in anyway to my words and know that you are not alone.

After seeing my kids in okc I had a mental break and started drinking again. I missed my flight and then got stranded twice with greyhound. I finally made it home but my girlfriend booted me during all this so I'm couching. All the travel and headache has left me completely broke with out food or a place. I was in a big wreck where my vehicle was totalled 
I had to move from one city to a different city to a hotel where I could be close to work since I could no longer drive. I have been trying to save to move but its been difficult. I still have no vehicle so I uber everywhere or walk but since it's getting colder we can't walk to much anymore. I have bad credit and it will take me more money to move than normal since I do not have a cosigner or roommates to move with me. I don't have family that has money to help that I could pay back so I'm seeking else where. I do work full time but because I have a child its hard for me to get another full time job and I do not own a computer or laptop to be able to work online. We have been in the hotel for months and didn't realize how hard it would be to be able to move out of the situation with no vehicle, bad credit and only making so much money monthly.
