Improving my workspace
#1
Hi everyone! I've recently started thinking about improving my workspace, or more precisely, making it more ergonomic. I often have to work for several hours at a time, and, frankly, my back and neck start to hurt. I saw that ProgressiveDesk offers height-adjustable desks and ergonomic technologies, which supposedly help improve comfort in the workplace. But the question arose: does this really help, or is it more of a marketing ploy? Has anyone tried such desks yet? Are they worth the money or is there not much point in it?

I have been using the standing desk electric from https://www.progressivedesk.ca/ for six months now, and I can say that it is simply a godsend. In fact, when you work in one position for many hours, especially while sitting, your posture suffers and your back starts to hurt. I had this problem too until I decided to try a desk with the ability to adjust the height. Now I can’t imagine a working day without it. An important point is that changing your position during the day really helps. If you sit for 4-5 hours and then get up and continue working standing, it relieves the load on the spine and improves blood circulation. Not to mention that height-adjustable desks like the ProgressiveDesk easily adapt to your physique. For example, I use both sitting and standing positions during the working day, and this gives me the opportunity to maintain comfort. In addition, I noticed that the ergonomics of the ProgressiveDesk desks are not limited to height adjustment. For example, the desk itself is deep enough to accommodate all the necessary gadgets and accessories - from the keyboard to various documents, and everything is within reach. This actually affects the efficiency of work, because you do not have to bend over or reach for something often to get the thing you need.

I have also heard good things about ProgressiveDesk and height adjustable desks. In fact, I think this is becoming an important part of the modern workspace. Especially as we spend more time sitting at our computers and adopting a sedentary lifestyle. I can imagine that these desks can help minimize the health risks associated with prolonged sitting. I wonder what about other accessories, such as chairs? Does anyone have experience with ergonomic chairs that pair well with these desks?
