I have been trying to find a reliable random video chat platform lately. For years I used Omegle, but since it disappeared the experience of meeting strangers online has changed a lot. Many sites claim to be the best omegle alternative yet when I test them they either have very few users or the moderation is terrible.
What I really want is a platform where real conversations happen. I enjoy talking with people from different countries, learning about cultures, and sometimes just passing time with interesting strangers. However most platforms feel filled with bots, fake profiles, or people skipping instantly.
Recently I came across Omegla Cam while searching through different communities. The interface looked simple and the matching seemed faster than some other platforms I tested. I am still not sure if it is the best omegle alternative, but it at least feels closer to the old style random chat experience.
One thing that matters to me is moderation and safety. I do not mind randomness, but I prefer a space where users who behave badly get removed quickly. A good omegle alternative should also work smoothly on both mobile and desktop.
