How can I keep multiple phone numbers when converting Excel contacts to VCF?
#1
I have an Excel spreadsheet that contains a large list of contacts, and many of them have multiple phone numbers (like mobile, home, and work numbers) in separate columns. I want to convert this Excel file into a VCF (vCard) file so I can import the contacts into my Android phone. However, when I try some basic conversion methods, only one phone number appears in the VCF contact, and the other numbers are missing. I would like to keep all the phone numbers for each contact after the conversion. Is there a specific format or mapping I should follow in Excel to ensure that multiple phone numbers are preserved in the VCF file? Also, are there any recommended tools or manual methods that allow exporting Excel contacts to VCF while keeping all phone number fields intact?

Maintaining multiple phone numbers while converting Excel contacts to VCF mainly depends on how the columns are mapped during conversion. If the fields are not matched properly, extra numbers may be skipped or merged incorrectly. When I needed to move a detailed contact list, I used ToolsBaer Excel to vCard Converter, and it handled the data very accurately. This practical XLSX to VCF Converter reads every column from the Excel sheet and places each phone number in the correct contact field, so nothing gets lost.

The features that really helped me are:
•Flexible field mapping, which allows linking different Excel columns with mobile, home, and work numbers so every number stays attached to the contact.
•Preview screen to quickly review contacts before exporting and confirm that all numbers appear correctly.
•Support for XLS and XLSX files, making it easy to process different spreadsheets.
•Bulk contact processing so large contact lists can be prepared in a single operation without repeating steps.
