Starting something in healthcare can feel like you’re being asked to prove yourself before you’ve had the chance to actually do anything. What helped me was reaching out to some local networks—professionals already running their own clinics who could at least point me in the right direction. I ended up exploring a medical-specific lending group, or companies which could give me financing for healthcare practices and which weren't banks, but rather a cooperative that understands things like billing cycles and insurance delays. It took a while to build trust with them, and it wasn’t exactly straightforward, but they didn’t treat me like I was applying for a mortgage either, which was a huge relief.
