Like all new homeowners, I’ve fallen into a common trap. We finished renovating our house last fall and poured a concrete slab around the foundation. Now, this spring, we’re having problems with water drainage. Apparently, a pipe has sagged or cracked somewhere under the concrete. Breaking up the new pavement would be devastating, and we can't afford it anyway because we're already in debt from the repairs. Please advise: Is it possible to repair the pipes without digging?
All my neighbors agree that without a tractor, we can't do anything and will have to tear everything apart. I’m at my wits' end. Is there a way to access the pipe through the manhole cover in the yard and repair it without causing damage?
