I am 28 from Austin Texas. And I’m a single mother of a 4 year old also the primary caregiver for my elderly mother. November is never a good month for me since 2014 the year my 6 month old baby passed away. Horrible luck haunts me and all I want to be able to do is provide a better life for my 4 year old daughter. A drunk driver hit my car two days ago so now I have lost my only means of transportation for me and my daughter. I’m not asking for much :anything helps even a dollar. Hi there, my name is Róbert and I live in the winter wonderland of Iceland.
I know there are people out there who need more help than I do, so please if you want to help someone out, check out other people who are struggling more than I am.

These past two years have been hard financially for me and for a lot of other people. I had a part time job for those two years while studying. I had a student loan that I had to pay in full my second year because I failed a class. And now I finally have a good full time job, but I still can’t enjoy my earnings because I have so many depts on my back. I appreciate every single one of you, just for reading this. It’s good to get it off my chest somehow, not just hold it all in and pretend everything is fine. My family has been able to help but I haven’t told them about all the depts because I don’t want them to go broke just by helping me pay off my depts. I also lost my stepdad in May, was a very difficult time. Not only did we go through a loss of a loved one, so much terrible stuff came up after that. I don’t think I should share the details on that on here. I hope anyone who is going through tough times can relate in anyway to my words and know that you are not alone.
Getting this off my chest felt good, and if anyone is thinking of helping me out I highly appreciate that and wish you the best in everything you do.

After seeing my kids in okc I had a mental break and started drinking again. I missed my flight and then got stranded twice with greyhound. I finally made it home but my girlfriend booted me during all this so I'm couching. All the travel and headache has left me completely broke with out food or a place. I was in a big wreck where my vehicle was totalled 
I had to move from one city to a different city to a hotel where I could be close to work since I could no longer drive. I have been trying to save to move but its been difficult. I still have no vehicle so I uber everywhere or walk but since it's getting colder we can't walk to much anymore. I have bad credit and it will take me more money to move than normal since I do not have a cosigner or roommates to move with me. I don't have family that has money to help that I could pay back so I'm seeking else where. I do work full time but because I have a child its hard for me to get another full time job and I do not own a computer or laptop to be able to work online. We have been in the hotel for months and didn't realize how hard it would be to be able to move out of the situation with no vehicle, bad credit and only making so much money monthly. Hello, I'm not sure what help I can get or if this will even work. However, I have run out of options and wish to at least try. I will admit I have posted this on a few different sites to try and get some help.

My name is Ash. I am trying to raise funds to get my mother's electricity back on. It has been off for over a month and I cannot afford to get it back on. My mother has always been mentally unstable. She has bipolar, depression, and is slightly schizophrenic. Unfortunately, the pandemic has made this much worse and affected her in a very bad way.

She has spent years trying to manage and help herself. Medication and therapy. She found a doctor and was doing very well the last few years. Well enough that I moved away before the pandemic hit its high point. I live in a completely different state and do not have a car myself. Her boyfriend of seven years broke up with her and stole her car.

Needless to say, the breakup caused her mental state to plummet. Since she lives in a rural area she couldn't get to her doctor's appointments, I'm sure she also didn't even want to. She no longer had the medication, or help that she needed. The events also caused her to lose her doctor, and she was unable to receive any unemployment. She was paying her bills with the stimulus checks and had not let me know had bad it had gotten.

It wasn't until she called me to let me know the power had been shut off that I learned about everything. Since then I have been helping her try and get a new doctor to get back on her medications. I have also been helping her keep her other utilities on, like gas since the heat runs through it

However, I cannot afford the electric bill. By the time they turned it off, it was nearing $2000 since they left it on during the pandemic. Since then they have started charging again. They also need a connection fee since it's been off for so long, and honestly, it's just too far outside my budget. I'm also worried because it is getting cold fast, and sadly the heating in the house ran on electricity.

It will be a long process to get her back to a healthy mental state, and I'm willing to do what I can for her. However, I am also aware that I need help. So I figured I could at least give this site a shot.

    Hello, thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read this. My name is Karina and I’m 25 years old. My story starts about 3-4 years ago. I actually had a good-paying, reliable job and my husband and I were able to save money and set it aside for emergencies. My husband was also working at the same job as me and was making good money too. We almost started to get comfortable. Then my husband’s health, at first gradually and then suddenly, declined. He developed problems sleeping, he is in constant pain from multiple medical problems that have yet to be properly diagnosed, and worst of all he suffers from PTSD. None of the tests the doctors have taken have come back with answers, and the medications they’ve tried have had little to no effect. At this point he is suffering in silence every day of his life because he barely gets 5 hours of sleep consistently each night, he is always nauseous, his stomach is in physical pain, he has migraines, kidney stones, etc. and it has caused his depression to get so much worse.
Of course, my mental state got worse as his physical health decreased. Our finances got really bad too. Medical bills started piling up faster than I expected. We had to use our credit cards more than we wanted because of big home repairs (had to replace well, get water filter for rust, replace furnace, replace hot water heater, new plumbing. Etc.) and major vehicle problems. It felt like everything was going wrong. Jeez, it still feels that way. It got so bad that my husband and I made the choice to file bankruptcy. Some of our debt was discharged, but not all of it.
Last year I got pregnant and it was a miserable pregnancy. I suffered from hyperemesis and no matter what I just couldn’t feel good. I got fired from my job because I was advised to take a leave of absence during my pregnancy but then my doctor refused to fill out the paperwork properly. Because  of my condition I couldn’t find another job that was going to pay well enough to be worth it. By worth it, I mean worth the cost to drive to and from, and worth the risk to mine and my baby’s health since this was during the pandemic. Also, due to being pregnant and not being able to work, I did not qualify for unemployment benefits. We have been struggling badly despite so recently filing bankruptcy.
My baby was then born ten weeks early and had to spend more than his first month of life in the NICU. That was a terrifying experience. He is home now though and is doing so amazing, you can’t even tell he was born early! Of course, my husband and I have returned to work. I got a new job working from home and have been working there for about two months now. We have been working on building a savings account for emergencies, but it seems like we constantly have something we need to spend money on.

So I'm new to this concept but I'll try anything at this point. I lost my job from covid and have yet to find a new one. Unemployment is on hold from some technical error and has been for over 6 weeks.  Can not get in touch with anyone for help to solve ui. Bank account is in the negative. No funds coming in at all. Bills piling up. Single mom. Get the picture. I owe friends and family so that is not an option. I am trying everything I can think of. Any help would be a blessing beyond belief. Im not really sure what to say, so I’m just going to be honest. I need a mental break from financial struggles. 
I’m a single mom and have been working non stop since my partners past when I was 16 and yeah it’s hard but I always find a way to keep going. But this year and the last year have been mentally and financially challenging. My complex has increased my rent and now I just feel like I’m drowning. I just want one month where I know I can breathe. 
By 16 , my sister and I had lost both of our parents and I feel like I’ve just been surviving since then. I’ve done every job you can possibly think of to make sure my daughter never goes without the things she needs and ensure our bills were paid. Now I’m just tired. I’m not sure if that even counts as a reason but it’s the one I have. Going non stop and never feeling like you’ve made it when you know you have, just defeats you in moments like these.  I’m not going to give up but having some help would be really great right about now.
